Teaching Portfolio

The College Level

I have submitted for consideration the following course to Mercyhurst University that is in line with Pennsylvania's newly released Online Teaching Certificate that several colleges are developing programming for or have developed. The research that went into this truly shaped the philosophical underpinnings of my thoughts on online teaching and learning. Feel free to comment on this open document:

Fall 2016: SEDU 786 Secondary and Middle School Curriculum Improvement and Development. This is a full online delivery course where I experimented with small and large group discussion, group projects, and a blend of asynchronous and synchronous delivery.

Course Syllabus for SEDU 102 - Edinboro University

Below is the syllabus for a College Reading and Study Skills course I taught during the Fall of 2015. The class was held at Edinboro University's Porecco Campus.

Here is the course Syllabus for one of my favorite courses I taught at Edinboro University. SEDU 183 Teaching and Learning with Technology allowed me to work with pre-service teachers in the most modern and up-to-date technologies to include document cameras, whiteboards - Promethean and Smart, and both PC and Mac platforms to include iPad integrations. As you can see, the curriculum called for collaborative projects involving Google Docs, artifact postings on blogs, and individual applications to finalize with a design of of their own 21st Century Classroom.
